Before you start your trek to Fort Jordan you should make sure you have all the gear necessary to kick some ass. Nothing can ruin a perfectly good time like being improperly equipped. Fort Jordan War Games are considered a B.Y.O.E. (Bring Your Own Everything) event. The Fort Jordan Survival List will help you figure out the appropriate gear to pack.
Paintball Equipment
If you don't already have paintball equipment, don't sweat. Being a sponsored team has it's privileges. Fort Jordan War Gamers receive the maximum discount for all paintball supplies from ByrdCo Paintball Supply. Please let us know if you need help ordering gear.
Some of us have a few spare guns, masks, and other equipment but there is only enough for very few unequipped players. We'd love to be able to buy everyone's gear for them but we haven't won the lottery yet. As we stated before, War Gamers get a great deal on paintball equipment at ByrdCo Paintball Supply.
Paint
Based on previous War Games we estimate that you will need 1500 - 2000 rounds (3/4 - 1 case) of paintballs per person per weekend. Of course, this depends on how good a shot you are. War Gamers get the maximum discount on paint at ByrdCo Paintball Supply.
Propellant
We have a large 75 pound CO2 tank and a large 3000 psi N2 tank on site. We are able to recharge your normal 9 - 20 ounce CO2 and N2 tanks that attach to your guns for the low cost of $5.00 per weekend. This cost covers the rental and refill cost of the large tanks. Expect to refill around 5 times per weekend.
Purchases
If you do plan on making a purchase from ByrdCo Paintball Supply, you should order it no later than the Monday before any Friday's War Games. Earlier is better to make sure that your stuff arrives in plenty of time.
You are welcome to bundle your purchases with the rest of the group. You should send payment via cash, check, or our preferred method, PayPal. The Base Commander is a Premier Verified PayPal user and we encourage you to sign up if you have not already done so. As a bonus to new PayPal users who sign up and use us as a reference, we'll give you a $5.00 kickback off of your paintball supplies purchase when you purchase from ByrdCo Paintball Supply with us. Along with the $5.00 PayPal gives all new users equals a savings of $10.00. That's like getting a case of Lone Star Beer for free! You must follow PayPal's rules for getting the new account bonus and we have to receive the $5.00 referral bonus from PayPal in order for you to qualify for the $5.00 from us.
All payments must be made in advance as we don't want to get stuck with extra guns. PayPal is a fast, easy, and convenient method of payment and we highly recommend it.
